POEM ¦ a colourful day

A blue horizon caught by eye across clear waters travels further than you might dream.

A yellow daffodil floating in the breeze captures a cheerful spirit with a certain ting.

A red line is where we dare to cross and take those things.

A green field as full of wildflowers as night can light a fire of passion.

A grey day gives time of day for the poet to rejoice and smile and play with words.

A violet touch in the wash of evening sparks a subtle tone for the way home.

A black dress means business or evening to some but sad mourning to others and when we have both no one understands.

So we put orange in our day for its fruity flavours and juicy fun with its dimples and squeeze. It aims to please. Me.
